KARL BENZ AUTO CARE Bangladesh is led by Engr. Uttam Kumar Das, who is also the Chief Executive Officer. He brings with him a diverse multi-sectoral automobile experience in senior leadership roles in various private sectors, as well as a proven track record of effectively managing development interfaces such as Business Policy and Plan, Marketing Strategy, and Operational Policy, along with consultancy support on Automobiles Product Quality, Maintenance Services, and Spare Parts issues, programming, operational and financial sustainability, and successful, both within and outside the company.
Mr. Das worked as the Head of Customer Services for the Mitsubishi Passenger Car Division at RANGS GROUP, one of the largest Bangladeshi industrial conglomerates, prior to joining KARL BENZ AUTO CARE. He was in charge of the policy development for a Customer Service Strategy. He spent seven years at Rahimafrooz building a customer service strategy, which is a comprehensive framework for dealing with client contacts.
With over 20 years of progressive expertise in the automobile sector in Bangladesh, Uttam has considerable experience in numerous private entities.
He has completed a number of training, including the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation’s Industrial Training on Automobiles and the ISO 9001: 2000 Awareness and Documentation Program. Mumbai, India-based TUV South Asia Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. DAS holds the title of Life Fellow of the Bangladesh Institute of Engineers (IEB).In addition, he is a member of a number of national automotive industry networks in Bangladesh.
Mr. DAS has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from DUET Bangladesh and an MBA in marketing from East-West University’s School of Business.
